The goal of PALS is to promote awareness and enhance usage of the Library by raising funds for programs, materials, equipment and services not included in the town’s library budget. Materials and programs are purchased for a broad spectrum of ages and interests, including: programming; museum & park passes; special start-up collections such as DVDs, graphic novels, and Fast Track Books; multimedia equipment; and the Summer Reading Program. Beyond donations, PALS needs new members to volunteer for fundraising events such as the Annual Spring Book Sale and other fundraising events during the year. PALS meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Library. Library supporters are invited to join PALS at any time by filling out our membership form or by requesting information at the circulation desk. With more support, PALS can continue to assist the Library in providing quality programming and extra library services.
