Summer Reading 2017 : Build A Better World


Are you reading to “Build A Better World ” at the Durham Public Library this summer?

Starting Monday, June 19th  Register for our Wandoo Summer Reading Program, read, participate in challenges and attend library programs to collect prizes and tickets towards a charitable donation!

 


Drop-in Storytimes


Mother Goose Storytime
Ages Birth to 2.5 (Siblings welcome)

Preschool Storytime

Harry Potter Book Club

Tuesdays at 6:30PM

Muggle and Wizard families, children, and teens are encouraged to join the library’s Harry Potter Book Club. We will be discussing one book a week for the whole summer. There will be Potter-themed snacks, games, crafts, and trivia for everyone. You can attend just one week or all of them! Registration encouraged, but not required.

August Programs


Famous Inventors Hunt in the Children’s Department

8/1-8/31

Visit the Children’s Department to see if you can find all famous inventor pictures hidden around the kids’ area! Then take your completed scavenger hunt sheet to the front desk for a prize! Play as many times as you want all month long!
