Muggle and Wizard families, children, and teens are encouraged to join the library’s Harry Potter Book Club. We will be discussing one book a week for the whole summer. There will be Potter themed snacks, games, crafts, and trivia for everyone. You can attend just one week or all of them! Registration encouraged, but not required. Register below!

Sing Along to the Music of the ’50s & ’60s

Sing Along to the History of the 1950’s and 60’s through Popular Song.
Join New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee Marc Black, for a musical tour through these two historically defining decades.  You’ll sing along with wonderful songs as diverse as Itsy Bitsy, Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka -Dot Bikini and Blowin’ in the Wind, as well as tunes by artists ranging from Dean Martin to George Harrison.  In addition to the music and discussion, this popular program features a slide show that’s sure to slide you right back in time.  Marc will also perform his own group’s top forty hit from 1967… ‘Happy’ by the ‘Blades of Grass’.

Send off the summer with a blast at our End of Summer party!  Games, crafts, snacks, and beverages will be available!
We will also be drawing the raffle ticket winners of our teen summer reading program.  Winners who are not available to attend the party will be contacted to pick up their prizes at a later time.
No registration required.  For teens entering grades 6 and up.
