This May, come to the Library for a series of hands-on workshops designed to give adults with little to no computer experience the solid, basic skills needed to navigate a computer, the Internet, email, and social media. All classes Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m.
May 3 – Computer Basics: intended for complete beginners, this program will cover basic computer equipment, terminology, and use
May 10 – Email Basics: including choosing a service and basic email functions
May 17 – Internet Basics: introduction to web browsers, search engines, navigation and Internet safety
May 24 – Facebook Basics: creating a profile, selecting Friends, navigating the newsfeed, posting status updates; sending/receiving private messages; and ensuring privacy settings.
