The entire Durham Library community mourns the sudden passing of Laurie Stevens, President of the Durham Library PALS. Laurie was a tireless advocate for the Library and a dear friend to many. There is a book of remembrance available in the Library for all to share their thoughts and memories.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Programs:

PALS Annual Book Sale will be held on Saturday, May 19th from 10:00 to 4:00; pre-admission at 9:00; we accept donations of books, CDs, DVDs and books on CD in good condition (please no VHS, magazines, textbooks or encyclopedias)

Library Plant Sale & Exchange will take place on Saturday, May 19th at 10:00; plants may be dropped off at the library on Thursday and Friday, or before 9:30 on Saturday, May 19th

Kristan Higgins will read from and discuss her latest novel, “Somebody to Love” on Thursday, May 24 at 7:00; copies of her book will be available for signing
